Romanticism.
Wouldn’t the world be great, if everyone lived in harmony, no judgement, no quarrel. Just peace. No backchat or hierarchy, no green eyes. Just a happy life full of happy people. No feelings of loneliness amongst a world booming with bodies. No subliminal messages and unspoken words. No bad tones and negative feelings. Just a atom of love that disperses when the cold air hits.
Our world goes on about a healthy happy life but why are we victims to such negativity? We need to unite against that invisible evil, that hatred that rises. we are no race colour or creed we are humans and there is good in us all. Don’t let those that fall victim to the dark hole be our eyes for all souls. The world is a messed up place already. Come
together and be the good juju that the world needs.
Me and my mum had a discussion once, I told her I felt like running away from this place, she said me too but whose going to lock the doors? I just thought it moments of sadness there is always humour. Be good to one another and laugh until your belly hurts.

Im talkin’ pressed flowers and embroidery. Im talking natural beauty meets fashion. It can only be pretty, delicate and precious when flowers are involved.
If you haven’t noticed already I’m a bit of a people watcher. I could pass my day just sitting in a pretty little coffee shop and watching peoples style pass me by like my very own catwalk. Picking items I wish I had, things I wish I could pull off and admiring those that make their own crowd. The skill that comes with this. Being very observant.
I notice a trend happening at the moment and that trend is beautiful. Its flower embroidery. Like that of an beautiful indian shawl but more versatile. Shoes, jackets, leathers are all getting this treatment and I have to say it looks pretty amazing when done right.

Ok.. Ok… so these might be a bit out of the price range, but Topshop, Zara, ASOS and New Look have all been sticking pretty into everything. So why don’t you get yourself a little bit of romanticism this winter and bring a bit of colour to the dull, grey days ahead.
If you are like me and enjoy creating something individual then paint or embroider an old denim or leather jacket. My brother gave me his Levi’s denim jacket from his Indie days and I know this is going to be a perfect project for those long cold nights.
Whats even better is the recycling of old flowers. I’m forever flower pressing and find the whole process so delicate and satisfying. So why don’t you save those birthday, lover flowers and use them as a dye to colour a light dress. If you don’t know what I mean. Watch this and you will be amazed.

Recently I’ve been getting into the art of badge making. Creating and commissioning designs for all you eccentrics. I have to warn you my badges are not for the generic. A lot of them are horror biased and film referenced, dark and earie, with a few food pieces for great measure. Just to bring it all back down to earth you know?
